his is a prayer of invitation to communion. It is adapted from the Iona Community, who are a dispersed Christian ecumenical community working for peace and social justice, rebuilding of community and the renewal of worship.
This piece is designed to bring the cross to the centre of the work and the circular arrangement of Our Lord Invites You is suggestive of us being together in communion. The Eagle is one of protection. Tess made this piece to hang alongside Be Swift To Love in a church near Southampton. They look very attractive on either side of the church porch window where they hang, but this piece looks equally beautiful in its own right.
Small: 330mm × 200mm – £175
