reland is famous for its Saints and Scholars and is also a country famous for its blessings. This blessing maybe used at a Christening or other occasion. Tess has used the image of the sun because she wanted it to suggest the protective nature of these words, keeping the person safe and protected from sunrise till sunset and to express the warmth and wishes for good fortune which are so often expressed in a traditional Irish Blessing.
