he inspiration for this calligraphy piece has come from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet- Act 2 Scene ii.

Juliet appears on the balcony and, thinking she’s alone, reveals in a soliloquy her love for Romeo who is standing in the shadows beneath Juliet’s bedroom window. She is saying that her love for Romeo is endless, and that the more love she gives to him, the more love she receives. Their love is forever and the cycle of giving and receiving love is infinite for both of them.

Tess has used the image of the sea as a backdrop to these words to symbolise the tempestuous, stormy and wild emotions of their passionate love.
