n this piece Tess has taken lines from The Jumblies written by Edward Lear in 1872. The poem describes how the Jumblies have ambitions and dreams which seem unattainable, precarious and reckless by the skeptics around them, who cast judgement and doubt. However the Jumblies stand up for themselves as they believe in their dreams and wisdom. During the course of their voyage they found inner resources and overcame adversity. Having sailed in a sieve through stormy seas, with water coming in and dark skies above the Jumblies return triumphant and successful which inspires their skeptical friends to see their own potential to fulfill their ideas and ambitions .

The circular design represents the sieve on the stormy sea and the silvery bees are representative of the resources they thrived on. The owl represents the wisdom of the Jumblies. The chosen lines are those in which the positive belief of the Jumblies shines through.
